Launch of the "EU Support to CSOs -Promoting Feminist Leadership to Combat Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Jordan" Project

ActionAid Arab Region, in partnership with the European Commission, is delighted to announce the launch of the project "EU Support to CSOs -Promoting Feminist Leadership to Combat Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Jordan" which is a project implemented by ActionAid Arab Region and supported by the European Commission. This 3 year project, to be implemented in the Zarqa and Mafraq governorates of Jordan, will focus on developing the capacities of young women and their organizations to fight sexual and gender based violence. This will be done through forming local feminist groups in four local areas and provide them with intensive capacity development to implementation campaigns addressing safety of women in public spaces. They will also be supported in the process to be part of national networks to address the issues of safety of women in public spaces at the national level.
